Youth Winter Soccer League

League Starts November 29th & 30th

League Overview

• Guaranteed 6 games per team (we are planning for 8 games per team).

• All games played on Saturday or Sunday.

• Each team plays two games in one day (with a break between games).

• Each team will have one bye weekend during the season.

Game Schedule

• Saturday Games: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Sunday Games: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

We plan to schedule so each team plays on only one day per weekend.

• Jan 3rd & 4th – Closed for Northside Tournament

• Jan 10th & 11th – Final Weekend

• Jan 17th & 18th – Closed for JASA Indoor Tournament

FAQ:

 Format & Competition

• Each match will be officiated and scores will be recorded.

• At the end of the series, playoff champions from each age group will be awarded prizes.

 Eligible Birth Years

• Open to players born between 2009 and 2018.

 Game Format

• U8 to U16 divisions will play 5v5 (4 field players + 1 goalkeeper).

• Games will use size 4 futsal balls, in accordance with modified indoor soccer rules.

• Each game will be two 18 minute halves with a 1 minute half time.

• Games will start every 45 minutes

 Age Divisions

• U8-U9: Players born in 2018–2017

• U10-U11: Players born in 2016–2015

• U12-U13: Players born in 2014–2013

• U14-U15: Players born in 2012–2011

• U16-U17: Players born in 2010–2009

 Teams may be coed. Players may "play up" in an older division, but cannot play down into a younger age group.
 

****We will do our best to have divisions of only one age bracket and brackets where all teams are similar level of skill and play*** To accomodate this we may have to change the schedule or brackets after the first two weeks

 Registration Details

• $250 per team (up to 10 players per roster)

• Teams from other clubs and associations are welcome to join.

• Teams are responsible for their own uniforms. JIRC can provide pinnies if needed.
